Civet Musk - 100% Pure Civet Oil Perfume We crafted Civet Musk from the finest Ethiopian Civet Cat Paste in a high quality Indian Sandalwood oil base with a hint of A Grade Cambodian Agarwood to activate the Civet Maceration. This Perfume oil is for the perfume enthusiasts who love Animalic notes. Civet Musk has a warm, woody, persistent vanilla musk profile with slight cinnamon undertones. There is a constant conflict between sweet and funky notes that puzzle the senses to whether you love it or just like it, as soon as you conclude “it’s not my favourite “ you are suddenly urged to take another whiff to reconsider. In this maceration, we used 15% pure Civet paste in a base oil that preserves the pure and delicate civet notes. Therefore, despite technically being a perfume oil, Civet Musk can also pass for a ready to use Tincture and natural fixative. Civet Cat extract is a potent, stomach turning material in the raw form but in the hands of a perfumer can be transformed into an alluring, lustily, musky and inviting fragrance or a valuable perfume ingredient that has been used in perfumery dating back to the 10th Century.
